In \nthe context of ACTRIS, LCA-UMH runs two standard measurement stations: a regional \nbackground site at Aitana mountain (1558 mssl) and a suburban site at the UMH campus in \nElche.<\/p><p>Both of them have made it possible to carry out in situ intensive and long-term \nmeasurement campaigns. Data on aerosol concentration, physical parameters, chemical \ncomposition and size distribution are collected. Statistical techniques, weather prediction \nmodels, aerosol and dust maps, and satellite images are also used in the determination of \nthe contribution of emission sources and singular events to PM levels. En el contexto de ACTRIS, LCA-UMH gestiona dos estaciones de medici\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar: una estaci\u00f3n de fondo regional en la monta\u00f1a de Aitana (1558 msnm) y una estaci\u00f3n suburbana en el campus de la UMH en Elche. Ambas estaciones han permitido realizar campa\u00f1as de medici\u00f3n in situ intensivas y de larga duraci\u00f3n. Se recopilan datos sobre concentraci\u00f3n de aerosoles, par\u00e1metros f\u00edsicos, composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica y distribuci\u00f3n de tama\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n se utilizan t\u00e9cnicas estad\u00edsticas, modelos de predicci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica, mapas de aerosoles y polvo e im\u00e1genes de sat\u00e9lite para determinar la contribuci\u00f3n de fuentes de emisi\u00f3n y eventos singulares a los niveles de PM. El alcance del estudio de aerosoles incluye sus propiedades \u00f3pticas (para estimar el forzamiento radiativo de los aerosoles) y su contenido de compuestos org\u00e1nicos en tama\u00f1os submicr\u00f3nicos de aerosoles (para evaluar sus posibles efectos adversos sobre la salud).
