{"id":4463,"date":"2025-05-06T14:11:39","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T12:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/actris.es\/?p=4463"},"modified":"2025-05-06T14:35:34","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T12:35:34","slug":"la-ugr-organiza-la-reunion-de-la-red-estrategica-actris-espana-en-la-que-participan-las-instituciones-espanolas-que-son-parte-de-esa-red-de-infraestructura-de-investigacion-europea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/actris.es\/en\/la-ugr-organiza-la-reunion-de-la-red-estrategica-actris-espana-en-la-que-participan-las-instituciones-espanolas-que-son-parte-de-esa-red-de-infraestructura-de-investigacion-europea\/","title":{"rendered":"UGR organizes the ACTRIS Spain Strategic Network Meeting, with the participation of the Spanish institutions that are part of this European research infrastructure network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The University of Granada participates through the Singular Laboratory Global Atmosphere Observatory of Andalusia, belonging to the Interuniversity Institute for Research on the Earth System in Andalusia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">From May 5 to 7, a working meeting of the ACTRIS Spain Strategic Network will be held at the Interuniversity Institute for Research on the Earth System, IISTA, with the participation of the Spanish institutions that are part of the Aerosol, Clouds and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure (ACTRIS: Aerosol, Clouds and Trace Gases), recognized as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium, or ERIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACTRIS ERIC represents a long-term effort by several European countries to create a sustainable infrastructure to support atmospheric and climate research. ACTRIS enables researchers, industry and countries to access key information on the state of the atmosphere, share the best research platforms in Europe and support policy making with all the necessary scientific expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spain, through the Ministry of Science and Innovation, participates in ACTRIS with eleven research organizations, which are grouped in a Joint Research Unit, made up of the Energy, Environmental and Technological Research Center (CIEMAT), the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the University of Granada, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center-Centro Nacional de Supercomputaci\u00f3n (BSC-CNS), the Fundaci\u00f3n de la Comunitat Valenciana Centro de Estudios Ambientales del Mediterr\u00e1neo (CEAM), the Instituto Nacional de T\u00e9cnica Aeroespacial (INTA), the University of Valladolid, the University Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez of Elche, the University of Valencia and the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya. Other organizations are collaborating and may join in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The resources that Spain puts into ACTRIS ERIC are the result of investments by public administrations that, through national and regional programs, have financed research and infrastructure projects over many years. These resources will bear further fruit through the synergies created within ACTRIS ERIC. ACTRIS permite a investigadores, industria y pa\u00edses acceder a informaci\u00f3n clave sobre el estado de la atm\u00f3sfera, compartir las mejores plataformas de investigaci\u00f3n en Europa y dar apoyo en la elaboraci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas con todos los conocimientos cient\u00edficos necesarios. Espa\u00f1a, a trav\u00e9s del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovaci\u00f3n, participa en ACTRIS con once organismos de investigaci\u00f3n, que est\u00e1n agrupados en una Unidad Mixta de Investigaci\u00f3n, constituida por el Centro de Investigaciones Energ\u00e9ticas, Medioambientales y Tecnol\u00f3gicas (CIEMAT), el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC), la Agencia Estatal de Meteorolog\u00eda (AEMET), la Universidad de Granada, el Barcelona Supercomputing Center-Centro Nacional de Supercomputaci\u00f3n (BSC-CNS), la Fundaci\u00f3n de la Comunitat Valenciana Centro de Estudios Ambientales del Mediterr\u00e1neo (CEAM), el Instituto Nacional de T\u00e9cnica Aeroespacial (INTA), la Universidad de Valladolid, la Universidad Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez de Elche, la Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia y la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya.
